Amber McGowan

Band Director

Amber McGowan is a Broken Arrow native. Once she finished her Bachelors in Music Education from The University of Tulsa in 2013, she moved to Texas to begin her teaching career. She then oversaw the bands at Tarkington Independent School District for the next few years. In 2019 she accepted a position at Magnolia ISD and remained there until accepting her position at Broken Arrow in 2024. She has performed in Drum Corps settings including the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps 2010, 2011.
