Amber McGowan is the Band Director at Sequoyah Middle School, where she brings her energy, creativity, and love of music to every rehearsal. A proud graduate of Broken Arrow High School and Tulsa University, she built her musical foundation long before stepping into the classroom. Amber also marched euphonium with the Bluecoats in DCI, an experience that shaped her passion for performance and teamwork. Outside of band life, she can usually be found taking a well-earned nap or hunting down something delicious to eat. She believes in creating a fun, supportive environment for her students—both in music and in life.
