With more than 30 years as a professional clarinetist, Dr. Connie Rhoades has taught beginners through advanced university students. She has a deep love for music, the clarinet, and helping students develop their musical talents. Dr. Rhoades currently teaches weekly clarinet/bass clarinet masterclasses in the Broken Arrow Public Schools, as well as private clarinet/bass clarinet lessons at her clarinet studio, The Oklahoma Clarinet Academy.

Prior to moving to Oklahoma in 2019, Dr. Rhoades served at Eastern Kentucky University for 27 years as the Professor of Clarinet. A seasoned professional, she has enjoyed performing in band, orchestra, chamber music, and solo settings throughout the United States. She currently subs with the Tulsa Symphony and the Signature Symphony.
